Ingredients for the starter: Shopska salad

4 ripe tomatoes
2 long cucumbers
1 onion
1 red or green pepper
1/3 bunch of parsley
2 tablespoons (olive) oil
3 tablespoons of red wine vinegar
1 cup (1/2 lb) Bulgarian cheese (or feta cheese)

Ingredients for the Main course: Pasta Carbonara

Recipe for 4 people:
Parmigiano reggiano
Black pepper
5 eggs
guanciale/ bacon

Ingredients for Dessert: Chocolate Salami

180 g digestive biscuits/vanilla wafers
¾ cup (70-80 g) toasted hazelnuts (or your favorite nuts), coarsely chopped
200 g/7 oz dark chocolate
90 g/3.2 oz (about ¾ stick) unsalted butter
6 tablespoons (90 ml) whole milk
(Optional)A splash of alcohol (Kahlua, Amaretto, brandy, rum)
Powdered sugar , for coating
